Booking The Trip
Advanced booking is required. All you need to do is contact us by email / phone and let us know which one of our trips you prefer, how many are going and which of the abovementioned pick-up arrangements that is convenient to you:
Tel (852) 2984 1414
Please note that we do not have a tour desk at the pick-up locations. If you have any questions, contact us by phone at (852) 2984-1414 which is attended to on each and everyday of the year.
(1) By coach: On Middle Road exactly outside the Kowloon Hotel in Tsimshatsui, Kowloon, please be there at 8:50am to register with our guide. (2) Boarding the boat: Tung Chung New Development Pier, Lantau at approximately 9:30am. (Please specify which pick-up you prefer when making the booking.) If you want to return to town soon, taking the MTR is the fastest means. Our bus can take you to the MTR station in CityGate which is a few minutes from the Pier. If time is not a concern, you are welcome to use our bus to get back to town. We expect to arrive Tsimshatsui around 1pm to 2pm, depending on sighting time and traffic. If you have a flight to catch and need to be in the airport or back to town earlier, please inform our colleagues well in advance.
Ways to get there and maps:
(1) Middle Road, Tsimshatsui, Kowloon
(Opposite to the Peninsula Hotel)
MTR Take the red Tsuen Wan Line to Tsimshatsui station and exit at Exit E, walk straight till you come to the intersection of roads, turn right without crossing, within a few steps, you will reach the Kowloon Hotel. Please allow about 5 minutes for walking after emerging from the Exit to the Hotel.
Star Ferry (pic of Central Pier) take a ferry from the Central Pier in Central to cross the harbour to Tsimshatsui, then walk to the Peninsula Hotel (pic of Peninsula Hotel) which normally takes about 5 to 8 minutes. Go to the back of the Peninsula, then you will find Middle Road.

||(2) Tung Chung New Development Pier, Lantau
MTR Take the Tung Chung Line and get off at the terminus Tung Chung Station. If you dont mind walking which is probably the best way to get to the Pier, take the pedestrian flyover next to the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car Station to cross the road and follow the way to the seaside. Please allow 15 minutes for it. If you want to take a taxi, get a green Lantau taxi outside the MTR station but it may mean a long wait as there are very few of those taxis available yet the ride is just a couple of minutes. If you prefer taking a taxi, better allow 20 minutes or even more for the waiting time which is very hard to predict.
Public Bus if you live in Discovery Bay or anywhere near Tung Chung on Lantau, there are buses that will take you to Citygate, the new town in Tung Chung. After getting off, follow the direction mentioned in the above paragraph for getting to the Pier.
Drive your own car there is no proper parking space by the Pier. The closest ones are available at Citygate. After parking, please refer to the paragraph above titled MTR for how to get to the Pier.

Driving your own car to the pick-up locations
1. The Kowloon Hotel in Tsimshatsui
Parking spaces are very limited at Tsimshatsui, aside from costly. We strongly recommend you to make use of public transports to join us outside the lobby of the Kowloon Hotel.
2. Boarding the boat at Tung Chung New Development Pier, Lantau
If you prefer this option, the closest parking facilities are available at CityGate which is around 15 minutes of walk to the Pier. You will risk getting a ticket by parking at the Pier as there is no proper parking space there.
Please note that if you are meeting us at Tung Chung pier, we aim to be there at 9.30am and we can NOT wait for late arrivals. If you arrive early and do not see us, feel free to call us on 2984 1414 - we may be stuck in traffic. Our colleagues will do a presentation in the bus about the dolphins; although you will miss this, they will try to give you some explanation on the boat, but their priority is to look for dolphins from quite early on.

We have an average sighting rate of 97 % which means you will very likely see the dolphins going with us. Please remember that the dolphins are wild animals and we cannot guarantee that they will be sighted on each and every trip. If no dolphin is sighted on a regular trip that you are on, you can join another again free of charge (seats subject to availability so please book well in advance). This offer does not apply to charter trips.
